I read Teacher Man by Frank McCourt at work today. great book. the way he describes new york city in the past is really intense. I can never imagine having to teach 145 plus teenagers, a day.
just had a dream about my mother. we were walking through the city and i had my arm around her shoulder. i asked her if i'm going to be okay. she didn't answer. i also asked her if i could take her picture. we were walking towards a park and then i woke up.
i don't involve myself in religion or politics. i stay far away from these subjects. topics like these can make conversations last a lifetime. i admit, it's a great thing to stay informed. but, silence is power. :)

i dunno why i've been shooting SO many backs, lately. oh yeah, this guy is looking on after a restaurant burned down in astoria. it was pretty gnarly because i saw people eating on the sidewalk the day before. here's the place.
