I read Teacher Man by Frank McCourt at work today. great book. the way he describes new york city in the past is really intense. I can never imagine having to teach 145 plus teenagers, a day.

just had a dream about my mother. we were walking through the city and i had my arm around her shoulder. i asked her if i'm going to be okay. she didn't answer. i also asked her if i could take her picture. we were walking towards a park and then i woke up.

just talked to my friend colin on the phone. haven't really talked to him in the longest time. he's one of those dudes that takes his talent for granted and doesn't shoot much. however, he always kept me interested in photography. i remember when we used to just chill at latent image in manhattan and go in the darkroom.

he's a bit shook these days after having a seizure and falling on the train tracks at an R stop in brooklyn. here he is.. below, followed by a picture he took of me for http://www.theolivetreereview.com/ and a shot of his i've always liked. get well colin.

work is work. pretty boring sitting in a chair for 15 hours, but all is good. i am constantly thinking about cameras/film/etc. can't wait to get back in my cycle. :)

living in a van: off the grid. always wanted to do this.
