colin deppen
just talked to my friend colin on the phone. haven't really talked to him in the longest time. he's one of those dudes that takes his talent for granted and doesn't shoot much. however, he always kept me interested in photography. i remember when we used to just chill at latent image in manhattan and go in the darkroom.
he's a bit shook these days after having a seizure and falling on the train tracks at an R stop in brooklyn. here he is.. below, followed by a picture he took of me for http://www.theolivetreereview.com/ and a shot of his i've always liked. get well colin.

Mitsubishi MX-II: test run 2011
bought this film on stienway in astoria for $1 a roll. I was excited to try it out but like i've been told, this film SUCKS! A few okay shots but i'm NEVER buying this film again. Don't be fooled by your local 99 cent store. Most products they sell are complete crap. :)

brooklyn: duffs 2011
jack took me to this place for the first time last week and i wasn't SO impressed. i've heard a lot about this bar and *eh* it's okay. i'm not big on the bar scene anymore, that's why. however, no one seems to judge you here, which is nice. drinks are inexpensive, the light is dimmed
and the decor is brilliant. there are a few scummy characters walking/lurking around, a bit annoying. i'd have to say this place is pretty neat if you live in the neighborhood. drink responsibly, ppl!
